Sandro Rajic is a professional movement specialist, with over 15 years in elite performance.  His analytical approach to coaching high-performance athletes is reflective of his avid interest in soccer, boxing, and anything that involves jumping on high things.

Sandro’s work focuses on hip dominant speed, power, rotational ability, and rehabilitation. The scope of his expertise extends to team sports, individual sports athletes, aesthetic sports (such as dance, figure skating, and ice dance), and the general population. Sandro received his MSc from St. Mary’s University in London Twickenham, under the tutelage of Dr. Daniel J Cleather. His MSc thesis: “ Effects of a 9-week hip-focused weight training program on hip and knee kinematics and kinetics in experienced female dancers” was a large success and one of the first studies showing that weight training can have a positive influence on movement strategy changes.

As an international presenter and coach, Sandro has presented his research and movement philosophy in Finland, Canada, and the USA for the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science. His work has been highlighted on many occasions as a breakthrough in movement strategy.

Currently, Sandro is the co-owner of K.V.K. Athletics Inc. which houses over 200 athletes and clientele in Calgary, Alberta. In addition, Sandro is head of strength and conditioning for Decidedly Jazz Danceworks and is currently working on developing a system to educate sports coaches and athletes on ideal and appropriate movement strategies. As a life-long learner, Sandro is continuing his academic studies by pursuing a Ph.D. with a research focus on change of direction and agility.
